I've recently discovered this relatively unheard of series of low profile games called "Call of Duty". Having never played this cult underground FPS before, I'm loving multiplayer on it, haven't touched the single player at all. If anyone is interested, I'm playing "Black Ops 2".
Also, DayZ. Probably a bit of Dark Souls, although I'm tempted to buy it for PC to play through with Mr Mags. Either that or I might start on my 'OneBro'.
I may do, but I have too many games to be working through :( Just got Hitman, which is pretty wicked. Also gotta finish Borderlands 2... me and my mate finally finished Dead Island the other weekend!
Also, DayZ standalone is still hoped for this year...
We'll also have the ability to tag an image as a "spoiler" very soon - so that you can warn people that it might be best to complete a game before checking it.
For example, I've got a picture from Dishonored that I want to upload to see if anyone else spotted this, but I won't be doing until we've finished the Spoiler tag so that it doesn't show up visible on the main images page!
I think you've got me beat there. I genuinely have no idea, but there was probably an easy 12 hour session on Skyrim's release, would've been much longer if it had come before 3pm! Over the weekend it was about 24 hours.
Moving to a new dedicated virtual machine opens up the ability for us to provide as many different sub-domains as we can for different languages. This will allow us to keep different language discussions separate :D
It may be some time, and I probably sound like a broken record, but watch this space!
Thanks for your patience and dedication :)
This is brilliant. Fucking idiots.
Also, it means that games with a 15 rating would be available for any child to download? I can't think of any rated 15 at the moment as I don't pay any attention to games ratings, but I know that if I had kids, I wouldn't want them exposed to most of the games I play. "Oh, but the parents should manage what their children have access to!" I hear you cry. I agree, and I am fairly certain that I personally would be able to control what goes on with any technology used under my roof, being an IT professional and all. The average 'user' wouldn't be able to though as far as I'm aware.
If this is the case, and any ol' Windows 8 user can download any ol' PEGI 16 rated game then I can hear cries of "My 6 year old daughter got a blow job in The Secret World" and "My 4 year old runs around screaming 'I'm getting my shit pushed up in here' since hearing it in Battlefield".
I'm not a PC gamer usually... do Steam / Origin have any mechanisms to stop children buying inappropriate games?
Haha! This is very reminiscent of ... was it Mass Effect 3? Just awful reviews on metacritic. Can't help but think a lot of these are fake, but still - stuff like this is pretty amusing (unless it affects the dev's pay).
I've tried the Demo of Resi 6, and I can say I was thoroughly unimpressed. They seriously need to stop plugging them as horror games.
Ah, we couldn't find anywhere to fit the drop down for languages in neatly. We will be getting one in the next redesign though, which will probably be happening pretty soon!
Sorry for not updating you on this :(
Personally, if I order a physical copy of something I expect a physical copy of it. Not a box that should have a physical copy of it. They should update the name to "Box".
If I had any cash lying around I'd probably pre-order it now and have a bash on the Beta, but alas... I, must wait until pay day!
Glad I'm not the only one who didn't think much of Source as well! So many people who got into the game during that iteration always told me I didn't know what it was about. Clearly playing since 0.4 wouldn't give you a good indications of it's origins.
I'd be tempted by this, if Counter Strike: Source had still been fun... Will give it a shot regardless though.
It was just such a shame, after years of playing the original Counter Strike, up until version 1.7 I stopped. Then I went back, picked up CS:Source and found out that the game was no longer about fun... I used to love low gravity.
I really want to play counter strike now, but in a serious manner. Quickest u-turn I've ever done there.
I must admit, I haven't played Team Fortress since Classic. It seems a little un-needed to me, as TF was always about playing against the other team for me. That said... most of the servers I used to play on would have a few bots here and there.
Recently I've been completing games well, but I used to suffer from this too. My problem is that I generally don't complete a game before the next awesome on is released and so the first game gets pushed back and forgotten.
It's also great to see all the pics of cosplayers at the launch event, I'm glad we do have some of the hardcore fans over here as well :D Hope we assist in getting your writing out there dude, more users every day to expose yourself too! ... ooerr ...
