What Are You Playing?

I broke up from work this week, so my weekend will be lasting 2 weeks. Over this time I plan to do a large amount of gaming (as well as a lot of work on GamingUnity).

My console has been collecting a lot of dust over the past 2 weeks as I’ve fell in love with the PC again, Super Meat Boy has made me rage, Amnesia has made me have to change my underwear and Q.U.B.E has made me scratch my head a few times.

I’m also thinking about picking up ArmA II: CO this weekend as I really want to try out Dayz.

I have a lot of gaming planned but as always... What are you playing?

Did you get Arma 2 in the end? I can't seem to get Day Z mod to work. Keeps telling me I am missing files when I'm pretty sure I'm not. Then again I am rubbish with that sort of thing.

Grrrrr.. I can now get servers to connect but the one server I actually saw something other than "loading" on I couldn't move!!! I hate computers!

I used Sixlauncher...

It does all the downloads and install for Dayz files and has a server browser. If you do this, delete your current game files, or if you can isolate what you already added, delete only those.

I'll give that a go. I was following some Aussie's video on using a launcher but I may have screwed everything up initially so I'm starting from scratch.

Sorted this morning. Only had enough time to get off the beach into a bit of forest. No gear yet. Will see how long I last when I finish work.

That's all well and good mate but you missed me and McNandy taking 2 hours to find each other and them him laughing at me being chased and finally eaten by Zombies. Either way I found a day time server after McN left and I managed to get some mags but no gun. I am now cowering near Pavlova wondering if any of the buildings I can see is a farm that might just have a weapon in it and wondering how to get past the 7 Zeds I can see. I'll be around at about 9 tomorrow if I get near the comp. Kid weekend.

Well i bought Black Ops from my buddy. Haven't played that game in a long time. Super good game actually. Better than i remembered it.

Secret World Beta for me. Enjoying it but not enough to pay a monthly fee for it. I like the story but have been burnt by Funcom with Conan and the whole endgame content being shit thing before so I am reserving judgement. Its a good game though.

I purchased myself a Playstation Vita this week so i'll be tinkering with Wipeout 2048 and Uncharted quite a lot but also getting some time in with my new love SWTOR the first online rpg i've been on since the Phantasy star universe PC servers closed.

If anyone's wondering, I've got a dedicated Minecraft server running now. Me and JJ are going to carry on building our world in there but we'll be able to frequently make it into a PvP world to have a few fights and go spelunking

If ARMA II: Operation Arrowhead goes on sale I'll be getting that probably. I am also getting the Valve Complete Pack so I can play Half-Life 2 and other great Valve games. I haven't finished Just Cause 2, I like the free-roam part of the game.

school just got out for me, so i plan on doing a lot of gaming this summer. I am VERY backlogged on games, due to Steam sales and such. I'll probably finish up Deus Ex HR, then works on Alan Wake and American Nightmare.

I'm currently replaying some older games that I never got to finish like, Homefront, BioShock and Just Cause 2. Maybe next week I get to play even more games, with the Steam Summer Sale coming up ofcourse.
