This is an apology, a thank you and a hello all rolled into one.

Last night anyone trying to access GamingUnity might have noticed you were greeted by an error 403 Forbidden, so first of all we would like to apologize for the 6 hours we were down for, but as they say every cloud has a silver joystick.


The reason for the outage was because the good folk over at reddit came crashing in to our site in the thousands and killed our server.

So what does this mean? Well first of all we have now upgraded our server to be able to handle the new traffic but it also means we have had a flood of new users and fresh blood.

So this was a quick message to say we apologize for the outage, we are thankful for reddit to bring in the new users and simply hello to all the new members.

Also a quick reminder to the new members that GamingUnity is designed to be YOUR website and not ours, if you see something you want adding to the website please send us your ideas as we started over a year ago as a small site, and as people have requested new parts to the site we've added them, so keep your ideas coming in and we will keep building them in.
